Black Candy has been in Warrington for a two day convention when we got there it was a lot smaller than expected and attendance was very poor on the day. But it still went fine and I met some lovely new people! Including the two lovely ladies below who put there new wigs on straight away :)

Day one had a fairy theme and day two was steam-punk! 

In may Black Candy will be at Sheffield Corporation Nightclub on the 10th and Manchester Sound Control Nightclub on the 24th with the Alternative and burlesque fair! We will have a few new wig styles ready for these events and of course all your favourite ones and Jewellery too :)

First Birthday!

February has been a busy month here at black candy! We have had over 1000 new followers which is amazing, Thank you to every one of you for your support :)

We have two brand new sponsored models Kitty Mansfield and Nikkinevermore so look forward to some shoot images from them!

Beginning of march Black Candy was at the Leeds Steampunk market, which is held in an old working mill. The day went well despite the cold wet weather. 

Next we will be in Leicester on the 15th of march at the Alternative and burlesque fair!

Also this month is Black Candy's first birthday!! I will be starting a special Giveaway on the page soon to celebrate :) The first year has been tough and its a lot of hard work for one person to keep everything running, so I am glad Black Candy has made it! Excited to see how Black Candy grows in 2014.

First 2014 Event and Valentines Sale

Black Candy has just done their first 2014 stall!  (Sheffield Alternative/ Burlesque Fair)

Now a regular trader with "The Alternative and Burlesque Fair" Black Candy so far is booked to be at seven of their events around the UK this year! (But possibly more). As The owner I love doing events because it means I get to meet some of our lovely customers and Facebook followers in person.

But we don't just do the burlesque fairs! Black Candy's next event is on the 2nd of March at the Leeds Steampunk Market (I will post info on the Facebook page closer to the time) and in the summer Black Candy will be trading at The Yorkshire Cosplaycon! I am really excited for this one and will of course be in costume :)

Also If you haven't seen already we are having a Valentines SALE! Everything on the store from Wigs to Jewellery! All you have to do is enter our discount code "LOVEBC" at the checkout! Sale is on now and ends at 11pm Valentines day. Go grab a bargain while stock lasts!

Back to normal :)

So the website has been back up and running since the 9th! I love our new website banner :) It is a little bit quiet here at black candy (although I am sure this is same for most business in January)

I am looking forward to our first stall of the year! This will be at the Alternative and Burlesque fair in Sheffield on the 1st February! The venue is a nightclub called "Corporation" and is open to the public from 12 am. It would be great to see you there!

Yesterday I got the first set of shoot photos back from our lovely sponsored model "angelofdark666" They have a dark and Romantic feel, the beautiful dress is made by herself! I love the contrast between the dark background and our beautiful White/Grey wig! A little stressed!

Argh! So I still do not have my laptop back from been fixed yet! I really can't apologize enough that the website is still closed :( As soon as my laptop is back I will be on a full day mission to Photoshop text on our new logo design, create a new banner for the site, create the images/upload lots of new products to the store. It will be announced when the site is re-opened it will only take a day once I get my own laptop back. I thank you all for your patience.

On a positive note I have some brand new shoot Images from Model Coco Fierce shot by the lovely Tony Smith Photography (I cant recommend this guy enough!) She is wearing our Beautiful long black wig ....

The lovely bright red one which is super long will be modelled by Eleine and our Silver/grey one by Jeannette (Black Candy's sponsored models check them out on our Facebook page) They will be doing shoots through-out 2014 for Black Candy :) Also one of these wigs will be on its way to an amazing Model in Poland called Mimiko. I cant wait to see all the results!  If you want your own wig they will be available on our site very soon :)

First post!

Woo! Black Candy now has a blog!

 Ok so I have never wrote or used a blog before and I wanted to give it a go :) So first an Intro for those who don't know me already my names Sarah *wave* and I am currently the sole owner of Black Candy (This keeps me quite busy haha)

I started Black Candy as a business in March 2013, specializing in alternative fashion from Cosplay Wigs to Gothic Jewellery, Basques/corsets, Hats,Bags and more! As well as selling online I do stalls at different events in the UK (check out our Facebook page for the latest on events)

Now currently the site is getting a bit of a re-vamp; a brand new logo and lots of new products but don't fear! Black Candy should be back up and running in no time! Also we have two new sponsored Models that I am sure you will be seeing plenty of through-out 2013 (I am really excited to see work from them) and a few other shoots lined up for January too! So watch this space..

(So as this is new to me any suggestions on the kind of things you would like me to blog about Black Candy or maybe even myself just comment and let me know!)
